An Employment Pass, abbreviated as EP, is a work visa granted by the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore to foreign professionals, managers, and individuals holding positions as owners or directors in Singaporean companies. This visa enables you to both reside and work in Singapore, as well as travel in and out of the country without the need for entry visa applications.
Typically, an Employment Pass is valid from 1 to 2 years and can be extended upon expiration. Holding an EP also simplifies the process of applying for permanent residency (PR) in Singapore.
